How this Works

everything else you need to know

schedule.

The first thing you need to do is secure your photo shoot date.  Spring, Summer and Fall session dates fill QUICKLY, often MONTHS IN ADVANCE, so don't wait to schedule!! Once you decide on a photo shoot date with Stacey Schwarz Photography, we will send you a contract and  an invoice. You will need to digitally sign the contract and pay the session fee of $250.  The date is not considered confirmed until these two things are done. The balance of the photo session is due 48 hours before the scheduled date.

plan.

The next step happens about two weeks before your session. We will have your consultation meeting, which can either be virtual or in person, it's your choice.  We will discuss all of the details regarding the photo shoot - including location, props, clothes and everything in between. It is very important to make time for this consultation because this is how we can learn all about your senior in order to best customize their photo session around who they are.

photoshoot.

Get ready to have fun! This is when the magic happens! Your photo session will last anywhere from 1-2 hours depending on your package. You should relax and enjoy yourself during this time and don't worry, I am there to guid eyou through every step of the way!

waiting.

Honestly, this is the HARDEST step! Approximately two weeks after your photo session, I will deliver high resolution digital download links of your photos that you will be able to view, print and share until your hearts' content!

what to wear.

What should I wear during my senior photo session? This is one of the most frequently asked questions and one of the reason I have a pre-session consultation with every client. By the time we are discussing this question you have had a chance to think about what you are envisioning for your photo session. Are you dreaming of a session in a flower field or possibly a urban setting? Either way I can help you create the perfect look. Below are links to a few of my favorite stores for senior photo session outfits.

do's and don'ts.

******PLEASE PRESS ALL CLOTHES AND BRING THEM HANGING ON HANGERS!!!!!******

If you wear glasses, I encourage you to buy a cheap pair of frames similar to yours and pop the lenses out. This is the only way to guarantee you will not have a glare or reflection in your glasses.

Bring your makeup and lipstick if you need a touch up during your photo shoot. If you normally don't wear much make-up, I encourage you to wear some mascara. This will help highlight your eyes in the photos.

Really short skirts and shorts maybe what is in style but I suggest trying to avoid these items. Having a short skirt  limits they ways you can be posed. Same goes for very low cut tops.

Check your clothes to make sure bras and straps cannot be seen.

Avoid tanning a few days before your photo session. This helps prevent red burnt skin and peeling.

If you wear nail polish please make sure it is clip free.

Lots of girls have gorgeous long straight and use little hair products. I encourage you to use hairspray when getting ready for the photo session. This helps prevent fly-away hair that happens from wind and changing clothes.

Don't worry about a minor acne break out. I can edit this out.

Don't forget to make sure you have shoes to go with each outfit (guys don't forget your socks)

If you have any questions or want my opinion as you shop, please reach out. I am happy to help!
